About Town

San Miguel is the main town on Cozumel and was only a short bus ride from our hotel. Besides the centre of town, one day we went exploring further north looking new snorkelling spots.

Cozumel may be related to the Mayan word for "swallow" (the bird). It is often used as the logo for the island.
