Waterton Lakes National Park
August 2017
This small but glorious national park is located in the extreme southwest corner of Alberta about 45 km south of the town of Pincher Creek. It joins up with Glacier National Park across the border in Montana. We visited it for three days in the very smokey summer of 2017, but even the smoke couldn't dampen our enthusiasm. Into a relatively small area, the park packs a lot of great hikes (and great boating experiences, if you're interested)
