Valley of Fire State Park
Valley of Fire is not a National Park but easily could be. It's in the remote northeast corner of Nevada but is well worth the visit. The scenery is stunning--in some ways, my very favourite of all the parks we visited. My only regret is that we had only one day to explore its many interesting trails.
