Red Streak Hikes
There are several little trails that originate at or near the Redstreak Campground. The Redstreak Restoration trail lets one see what the original habitat of this area once looked like. Many years of fire suppression have created thick forests which are not the norm.
The Campground Trail leads all the way to the hot springs. As one nears the end of the trail, there is a dramatic change in scenery, leading one into a grove of mature red cedars. Suddenly everything is dark and quiet. The spot is aptly called the "Place of Silence."
