Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury is very close to the Welsh border and therefore our jumping off point for travelling into North Wales. This medieval city has many enticing landmarks, not least of which is Shrewsbury Abby lately made famous b in the Brother Cadfael novels by Ellis Peters (pen name of Edith Pargeter).
