Belize: 2013
In 2013 we flew to Belize City and from there took a ferry to our final destination on Ambergris Caye which is where most tourists end up. We can't really say we got a feel for the country as a whole during our ten day holiday, but this small corner was delightful. Almost everyone we met was bilingual--there two languages being English and Spanish. I believe there is a local patois as well.
