Tulum
A short ferry ride from Cozumel and then an hour down the road by bus and you are in Tulum. This was our third visit. It's hard to imagine a more magical site for archaeological ruins. The structures here are not quite so grand or monumental as elsewhere in Central America (though impressive in their own way). What makes Tulum special is its exceptional setting--drop dead gorgeous. If you visit, don't forget to bring your bathing suit!
