Bertha Lake
This is described as a four-and-a-hour return hike, but that doesn't include a walk around Bertha Lake which adds another four km to the hike. However, I highly recommend circling the lake. You'll be treated to a great variety of gorgeous wildflowers and some good swimming opportunities. The profusion of beargrass growing here at the beginning of August is "mind-blowing". It's easy to understand why this is one of Wateron's most popular trails.
